OSCACER – César Rola, LDA., is the oldest company operating in the steel market in Portugal. Founded in 1902, with the designation Casa Viúva Rola and, later, António Rola, Filhos from 1944 to 1965 , where it is renamed ÓSCAR & CÉSAR ROLA.
The name “OSCACER-CÉSAR ROLA, Lda“, which is still in force today, was changed in 1977 after a corporate restructuring.
Initially, it was dedicated only to the commercialization of steel, but due to its marked growth in the area of flat and long steel products, the Steel Services Center appears, the lung of the entire Company.
A GROUP 100% NATIONAL
With the strong growth of OSCACER – César Rola, LDA. and, in order to strengthen its position in the steel market, in 1989, it established a partnership with the Spanish Commercial Company of Laminates, from which Ferlito, Ferros do Litoral S.A. was born.
In 2008, as a result of the partnership between Domingos da Silva Teixeira and Ferlito, Steelgreen was born. A service center in Vila Verde, focusing on the manufacture of cast rods. Subsequently, in 2016, Steelgreen is acquired in its entirety by the OSCACER Group, becoming a reference at national level in steel products, expanding the gains made available in the iron market.

To improve the provision of our services, we have 9 transverse and longitudinal cutting lines, where the steels are processed to the exact extent of the needs of our customers and suppliers.
We have our own fleet of vehicles with a load capacity of up to 25 tons to respond efficiently to our customers’ delivery times.
